NEWS – NO BUSINESS LIKE SNOW BUSINESS

By | December 11, 2017

Scores of wannabe Santa’s descended on Lichfield (Sunday December 2017) and took on the challenge the annual Santa Dash held in the snowy freezing festive like weather to raise much needed funds for Queens Croft School in the city.

Stowe Field under the gaze of the city’s magnificent Cathedral witnessed the start and finish of the event, in between the Santa’s wound their way through the city centre streets and mingled with the crowds visiting the annual Christmas Food Festival.

Kevin Wilson of joint organisers KP Events praised the hardy souls who made the day so special; “ the weather was dreadful under foot and on the roads too but so many guys and gals and kids and dogs turned out to raise much needed money for a school that does fantastic work for youngsters in the city and surrounding areas who have a range of learning difficulties.
The atmosphere was fantastic and it felt like a proper Christmas Day!!”
